Victims’ Commissioner speaks to law students

Last month the Victims’ Commissioner, Baroness Newlove, spoke at an event for law students at the BPP Law School in Holborn, London.

She spoke to student lawyers about how it was important to recognise that they will come into contact with victims during their careers and that they deserve to be treated with decency and respect.

One of the students who attended the talk, James Watson, wrote up his account of the talk and how he intended to interact with victims once he qualified as a lawyer.

You can read James’s blog on the BPP University blogsite.
